Trogir is quite a distance from Dubrovnik (over 3 hours of driving) so the best way to see it on a day trip from Dubrovnik is by booking a private tour. The private tour will also include a stop in Split and the Klis Fortress.

The private tour option will still be a very long day trip but this way you will be able to make the most of your day and maximise your sightseeing time. This is the most efficient option for those on a time limit who want to see as much as possible.

To reach Mostar from Dubrovnik, you can drive across the border, which takes about three hours. Ensure your rental car is allowed to cross into Bosnia and Herzegovina and don’t forget to bring your passport with you!
